Job summary

Patient First is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant in Catonsville, MD to support nurses and physicians in patient care. The role involves triage, vital signs, and assisting with exams in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Requirements include MD CNA certification, high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Related CPR training and flexibility to work at any center are required. Salary ranges are provided and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital or physician’s office preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods.
• Willingness to work at any center due to staffing or center emergencies.
• Attend scheduled CPR classes and code drills.

Responsibilities

• Locating patients, obtaining vital signs, triaging, and preparing patients for exams and treatment.
• Using the electronic medical record system and ordering labs as directed.
• Assisting Nurses and Physicians with patient care and treatment.
• Handling requests promptly and communicating needs for lab or x-ray services.
• Maintaining cleanliness of treatment areas and restocking rooms as needed.
• Reporting to the Charge Nurse before leaving the shift.
• Operating medical and office equipment as trained and completing checklists.
