Job summary

Qualifications

• CNA in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit.
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• 1 year of experience as a CNA in long-term care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse, med tech and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinates dining room services including setup, tray delivery, feeding assistance and documentation.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and documents intake.
• Records resident weight and reports changes to nurse/supervisor.
• Monitors skin condition and reports concerns to nurse/supervisor.
• Assists with toileting program activities and completes daily flow sheets.
