Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care in Woods Cross, UT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under supervision. You will assist with ADLs, support nursing staff, and help maintain accurate documentation and care plans in a long-term care setting.

Ideal candidates have a CNA in good standing and CPR/BLS certification, plus a food handler permit. Prior long-term care experience is preferred. This is an on-site role requiring teamwork and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse, med tech and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with Activities of Daily Living per care plans and policies.
• Assists with lifting, turning, positioning, and transporting residents as needed.
• Coordinates dining room services at meals, including setup, delivery, and documentation of intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and records intake.
• Documents resident progress and weight changes as directed by supervisor.
• Reports changes in resident condition to nurse and supervisor.
• Follows safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.
