Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support nurses and care for residents with varying needs. The role requires compassion and patience to provide gentle, empathetic elder care.

Shifts run 6am–6pm with every other weekend. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, document care, assist with mobility, dining, and weigh-ins, and coordinate with the nursing staff to ensure wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Aide in good standing with state certification required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care preferred.
• Effective written and verbal communication in an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services to nurses and other staff as needed.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plans and procedures.
• Assist resident with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting.
• Coordinate dining room services at mealtimes and document meal intake.
• Deliver nutritional supplements and document intake.
• Weigh residents and report changes to nurse/supervisor.
• Monitor skin condition and report concerns to nurse/supervisor.
• Assist with toileting program activities.
• Complete flow sheets and document progress of tasks.
• Inform nurse of factors interfering with work or resident cooperation.
• Report changes in resident condition to nurse and supervisor.
