Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate daily care in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings. CNAs report to the nurse manager and support residents with personal care, activities, meals, and light duties, while upholding safety and dignity.

The role requires completion of a state-approved CNA program, current registry listing, and a HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assists residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignment.
• Maintains resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner, including light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, and tidying spaces.
• Assists with resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, and ready.
• Notifies supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
• Prepares residents for meals, assists with serving meals and feeding.
• May be cross trained in Assisted Living.

Education
