Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Greensboro, NC is seeking a compassionate CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents. You will support independence, encourage participation in community activities, and help create meaningful experiences.

Responsibilities include documenting incidents, assisting with meals and mobility, responding to calls, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting move-in transitions with emotional support.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located and in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of nursing team and follow instruction of supervisor.
• Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists residents to and from the dining room, and to and from activities.
• Reports incidents involving residents and completes appropriate documentation.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to all resident calls for assistance or emergency alerts.
• Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Communicates resident status, appointments, admissions, and transfers.
• Reports resident changes and interventions in the Daily Log and clinical record.
