Job summary

Westerly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Rhode Island is hiring CNAs to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents across day and evening shifts. This role supports licensed nursing staff and contributes to safety, comfort, and quality of life in a 106-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care setting.

We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive hourly wages ($20–$33), daily pay, and shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA license in the state of employment.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high‑quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care.
