Job summary

Westerly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, located on the CT–RI border, is seeking CNAs for full-time and part-time roles. Shifts are 7 AM–3 PM, 3 PM–11 PM, and 11 PM–7 AM with daily pay and competitive hourly pay from $20 to $33, plus weekend and weekday differentials.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, observing changes, maintaining a safe, respectful environment, and supporting licensed nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered CNA license in the state of employment.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, linens).
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.

• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.

• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.

• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of employment.
