Job summary

Westerly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide basic resident care under licensed supervision in a 106-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care setting.

You will assist with activities of daily living, observe residents, and report changes promptly while maintaining a clean, safe environment and supporting the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Provide supportive care to meet residents' physical, emotional, and daily living needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Support nursing staff and care team in delivering high-quality resident-centered care.
