Bethesda Health Group is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant to provide patient care support in a long-term care setting. You will assist with hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and safety, document patient information, and orient new residents to the facility.

You will perform vital sign checks, assist with transfers, and respond to call lights, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to physician or therapy orders.

Competenze

• High school diploma preferred.
• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state you will be working.
• CPR certification, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with patients, visitors, and staff.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift heavy object using proper lifting techniques and with assistance when necessary.
• Ability to transfer and move patients who weigh 200+ lbs with assistance.
• Ability to push and pull equipment weighing over 40 lbs with assistance.
• Manual dexterity and ability to document accurately.

Mansioni

• Provides patient care support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety as directed by the Charge Nurse.
• Documents appropriately into patient records per guidelines.
• Orientates new residents to the facility and unit; ensures arm bands and admission kits.
• Takes vital signs, height, weight, and reports to Charge Nurse.
• Responds to call lights promptly and completes rounds as assigned.
• Ensures proper equipment and supplies are used per orders.
• Attends continuing education and takes on additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintains discretion with confidential information.
• Gives report to Charge Nurse at end of shift.
