Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care, hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and safety under the direction of the Charge Nurse. You will document care in patient records according to standards and assist with admissions and routine rounds.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, monitoring intake and output, assisting with transfers and accurate charting, responding to call lights promptly, and maintaining supplies while working

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state you will be working
• Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with patients, visitors, and staff
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to transfer and move patients who weigh 200+ lbs with assistance as needed
• Ability to lift heavy objects using proper techniques and with assistance when necessary

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care related support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination and safety under Charge Nurse guidance.
• Documents care accurately into patient records and completes admission paperwork and routine charting.
• Monitors vital signs and weights, and reports promptly to the Charge Nurse.
• Responds to call lights promptly and assists residents with needs during the shift.
• Maintains supplies and equipment, and assists with transfers and positioning as required.
