What You’ll Do:
- Safely assist with medication administration in accordance with state regulations, community policies, and delegated responsibilities
- Observe residents and promptly communicate medication-related concerns, questions, or changes in condition to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate medication records and documentation to support resident care and regulatory compliance
- Foster positive communication with residents, families, and team members to support quality care and resident well-being
- Receive, organize, and properly store pharmacy deliveries and medication supplies according to established procedures
- Assist with wellness-related tasks such as obtaining vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and other approved support services as directed
- Support residents in the Assisted Living community by promoting comfort, independence, and a positive daily experience
What You’ll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Current NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certificationand/orCurrent and active New Jersey CNA certification(required)
- Previous experience working in long-term care or assisted living setting (preferred)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
