Job summary

Pitman Manor, a UMC community, is hiring CNAs to support residents with daily living activities, personal care, and safety in a compassionate, team-focused environment. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available in day and evening shifts.

The position offers competitive pay ($23–$25.55/hour based on experience) with shift differentials, solid benefits, and quick hiring. Certification in NJ or enrollment in a CNA program is required, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current Jersey CNA certification or enrollment in New Jersey CNA program is required.
• Experience working in long-term care setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities, including personal appearance, hygiene, dressing, and general well-being.
• Follow individualized service plans and maintain accurate records to ensure quality support and communication among team members.
• Conduct routine resident check-ins to promote comfort, safety, and engagement throughout the day.
• Assist residents during meals and provide support with movement and the use of mobility aids when needed.
• Foster positive relationships with residents while working closely with colleagues to create a welcoming community environment.
• Share resident preferences and observations with appropriate team members and notify nursing staff of any notable changes or concerns.

Education
