Job summary

United Methodist Communities in Pitman, NJ is hiring a CNA/CMA on a per diem basis at Pitman Manor, with pay of $23.30–$24.80 per hour based on license and coverage as needed. Responsibilities include safely assisting with medication administration, observing residents, documenting care, and communicating with the nursing team to support resident well‑being.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and active NJ CNA or Medication Aide certification; prior long‑term care experience

What You'll Do:

• Safely assist with medication administration in accordance with state regulations, community policies, and delegated responsibilities
• Observe residents and promptly communicate medication-related concerns, questions, or changes in condition to the nursing team
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation to support resident care and regulatory compliance
• Foster positive communication with residents, families, and team members to support quality care and resident well-being
• Receive, organize, and properly store pharmacy deliveries and medication supplies according to established procedures
• Assist with wellness-related tasks such as obtaining vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and other approved support services as directed
• Support residents in the Assisted Living community by promoting comfort, independence, and a positive daily experience

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Current NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certificationand/orCurrent and active New Jersey CNA certification(required)
• Previous experience working in long-term care or assisted living setting (preferred)
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
