Job summary

United Methodist Communities in Newton, NJ, is seeking an Assisted Living Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for full-time or part-time roles at Bristol Glen, a UMC community. The role offers hourly pay from $23 to $25.55 based on experience, with shift differentials for evenings, overnights, and weekends.

You will administer medications under RN supervision, monitor residents, and document responses. NJ CMA certification and a high school diploma are required, with long-term care experience

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current NJDOHSS-approved Medication Aide certification is required.
• Current and active New Jersey CMA certification is required.
• Prior experience in long-term care or assisted living is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely under RN supervision and policy guidelines.
• Monitor, document, and respond to resident medication effects.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff about medications and concerns promptly.
• Check in and store pharmacy orders.
• Perform basic clinical tasks including insulin administration and blood glucose checks.
