Cedar Ridge Village in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. You will provide direct, compassionate care to residents in a nursing home setting, supporting their daily living activities and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) must have completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations in clinical skills and written knowledge in accordance with statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follows and upholds The Community's philosophy and goal to maintain, improve and/or enhance each resident's quality of care and quality of life.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living as outlined in care plan.
• Completes documentation of resident care as assigned.
• Follows safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety.
• Follows and upholds policies and procedures of The Community.
• Follows rules outlined in the Community's employee handbook.
• Attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
• Follows infection control guidelines.
• Reports changes in residents condition immediately to the Charge Nurse
• Observes residents rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc.
• Promotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guests.

Shifts : In general we offer 4 and 8 hour shifts for our CNA positions. We have openings for part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) and PRN positions.

• Days: 6am-2:30 pm- Part Time Hours
• Evenings: 2pm-10:30pm-Part Time Hours
• Nights: 10pm-6:30am-PRN Hours
