Job summary

Colonial Village is a senior living community seeking a dedicated Restorative Aide - CNA. You will provide direct care to residents in line with restorative nursing policies and assist with activities to improve independence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in rehabilitation or therapy.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to lift and move patients and assist with transfers.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily exercises and activities prescribed by therapists.
• Support residents with activities of daily living to increase independence.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and healthcare team members.
