Job summary

Westchester Village of Lenexa seeks a dedicated RN to provide comprehensive nursing care for residents across independent, assisted, and long-term care settings. You will communicate with families, physicians, and the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include daily rounds, adherence to safety and infection control guidelines, and hand-off communication between shifts while supervising care staff. CPR certification and active state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed in the state of work and maintain licensure and CEU requirements.
• Preferably 1-2 years of long-term care or skilled nursing experience, but not required.
• Successful completion of CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in accordance with federal, state, and company requirements based on resident acuity.
• Make daily rounds to assess condition and comfort of residents.
• Follow safety, infection control policies and ensure resident safety.
• Communicate with physicians and ensure follow-through; hand-off communications between shifts.
• Oversee direct care staff and ensure tasks are completed as assigned.
