Allpro Homecare is seeking an Experienced CNA to join our team and support quality non-medical homecare for veterans in Rhode Island. The role offers a flexible schedule, weekly pay, and online training.

Duties include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, meal prep, housekeeping, and reporting any unusual events. Must have a valid CNA license and pass Rhode Island background checks; willingness to work varied shifts including nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• Current state license in good standing as a CNA.
• 1 year caregiver experience in hospital, nursing home, other facility or homecare setting.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Rhode Island background check must be passable.
• State-required vaccinations as listed (Flu, Hepatitis B, etc.).
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Assist with toileting and transfers using aids as needed.
• Assist with ambulation using cane, walker, or wheelchair.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals with client input.
• Report unusual events to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Complete other duties per the Client Service Plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet
• Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair
• Performs housekeeping duties
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass a Rhode Island's National background check
• State-required Flu Shot (annually thereafter)
• State-required Hepatitis B Shot
• State-required Immunization Record (Flu, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, COVID)
• State-required Birth Certification upload
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Adequate physical endurance
