Job summary

Allpro Homecare MA in Medford, MA is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team and support veterans with non-medical homecare. This role offers flexibility, weekly pay, and online training.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, transfers, meals, and light housekeeping while following the client service plan and reporting any issues. Requirements include a current state CNA license, ability to work various shifts (including nights/weekends), and a valid driver's

Qualifications

• Must have current state CNA license in good standing.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a background check.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Hoyer Lift experience (client specific).
• Able to perform all essential functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist client with toileting, including bedpan or toilet.
• Assist client with transfers and ambulation using cane, walker, or wheelchair.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals with client assistance when able.
• Report unusual events to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Complete other duties per Client Service Plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet
• Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair
• Performs housekeeping duties
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan
