Job summary

Allpro Homecare is seeking an Experienced CNA to join our team and provide quality non-medical homecare to our veteran population.
We offer a flexible schedule, weekly pay, and online training to support our caregivers.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, meals, and light housekeeping, with emphasis on safety and compassion. A driver’s license and RI background check are required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or state CNA license in good standing.
• Ability to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass Rhode Island background check.
• Immunization requirements (flu, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, COVID).
• Birth certification upload required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Hoyer lift experience (client-specific).
• Ability to perform all essential functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with toileting including bedpan or toilet.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation (cane, walker, wheelchair).
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals with client assistance as able.
• Report unusual events to administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Complete all duties per Client Service Plan.

• Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet
• Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair
• Performs housekeeping duties
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan

Requirements
