Allpro Homecare is seeking an experienced CNA to join our team and deliver quality non-medical homecare to our veteran population.

This role offers a flexible schedule, weekly pay, and support staff, with responsibilities including assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping while reporting any changes to the administrator.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in good standing.
• 1 year caregiver experience in hospital, nursing home, other facility or homecare agency setting.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass a Rhode Island's National background check.
• State-required Flu Shot (annually thereafter)
• State-required Hepatitis B Shot
• State-required Immunization Record (Flu, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, COVID)
• State-required Birth Certification upload
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Adequate physical endurance

• Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair
• Performs housekeeping duties
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan
