Job summary

Allpro Homecare in Rhode Island is seeking an experienced CNA to join our team delivering quality non-medical homecare to veterans. The position offers a flexible schedule, weekly pay, and online training to support staff. Duties include personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, and safety reporting.

Qualified candidates hold a Rhode Island CNA license, have 1 year caregiving experience, and can work nights or weekends. Valid driver’s license and immunization requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Current state license in good standing as a CNA.
• 1 year caregiver experience in hospital, nursing home, other facility or homecare.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass Rhode Island background check.
• State-required Flu Shot annually.
• State-required Hepatitis B Shot.
• State-required Immunization Record (Flu, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, COVID).
• State-required Birth Certification upload.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Hoyer Lift experience if needed for clients.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Adequate physical endurance.

Responsibilities

• Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assists client with toileting, including bedpan or toilet use.
• Assists with transfers and ambulation using cane, walker, or wheelchair.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals with client input.
• Report unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Completes all duties per the Client Service Plan.

• Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan
