Job summary

Allpro Homecare is seeking an experienced CNA to join our team, delivering quality non-medical homecare to our veterans in Rhode Island. This role supports daily living activities, with a flexible schedule and weekly pay.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and documentation as required by the client plan. We require a current CNA license, eligibility for a Rhode Island background check, and willingness to work varied shifts, including nights and

Qualifications

• Current state license in good standing as a CNA.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to pass Rhode Island background check.
• State-required immunizations (Flu, Hepatitis B, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assists client with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assists client with toileting, including use of bedpan, or toilet.
• Assists client with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker, and wheelchair.
• Performs housekeeping duties.
• Plan, prepare and serve meals, with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Report any unusual events or occurrences to the administrator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Completes all other duties within the Client Service Plan.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Current state license in good standing as an CNA

• State-required Flu Shot (annually thereafter)
• State-required Hepatitis B Shot
• State-required Immunization Record (Flu, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, COVID)
• State-required Birth Certification upload
• Valid driver’s license and reliable daily transportation
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Adequate physical endurance
