As a CNA, you will assist residents with ADLs, mobility, and daily tasks, while communicating changes to licensed nurses and collaborating with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Missouri in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification required or current CPR/BLS within certification period.
• Strong communication with residents and staff in English.
• Compassionate, reliable and team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, grooming, dressing and hygiene.
• Support residents with mobility and positioning; use adaptive equipment as needed.
• Ensure residents are clean, dry and comfortable at all times.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and maintain clean bedding.
• Explain care procedures to residents before assisting.
• Participate in shift reports and communicate with nursing staff.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report to licensed nurses.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Bluebird Wellness Center is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in our skilled nursing facility.

What You’ll Do

Resident Care

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• Help residents with mobility, positioning, and use of adaptive equipment
• Ensure residents are clean, dry, and comfortable at all times

Daily Support Tasks

• Change bed linens and maintain clean, wrinkle-free bedding
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests
• Explain care procedures to residents before assisting

Team Communication

• Participate in shift report and communicate with nursing staff
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed nurses
• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Missouri (active and in good standing)
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff
• Ability to read and write in English
• Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented
