Job summary

Bluebird Wellness Center is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in our skilled nursing facility. New CNAs are encouraged to apply and join a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, and comfort, while maintaining clean, safe living spaces. Missouri CNA certification and CPR/BLS required; we offer training for the right candidate with no prior experience.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Missouri (active and in good standing).
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Compassionate, reliable, and team‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Help residents with mobility, positioning, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Ensure residents are clean, dry, and comfortable at all times.
• Change bed linens and maintain clean, wrinkle-free bedding.
• Make occupied and unoccupied beds.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests.
• Explain care procedures to residents before assisting.
• Participate in shift report and communicate with nursing staff.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to licensed nurses.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.
