Apple Rehab Watertown is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our family-oriented skilled nursing team in Watertown, CT. You will assist residents with daily living activities, document care, and report changes to supervisors, while upholding our standards of quality and dignity.

Competitive hourly pay up to $21, shift differentials, and benefits are offered to eligible staff. Per diem/weekend coverage may be required to meet scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA certification in good standing as required by state regulations.
• Proficient reading, writing and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Team player with cooperative interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily bathing, grooming, dental care, dressing and mobility.
• Document personal care provided according to facility policy; observe patient changes.
• Record vital signs and report any skin breakdowns or emergencies to supervisor.
• Respond to call lights and assist as needed while maintaining safety and comfort.

Job Opportunity:

CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

Starting Pay:

Competitive rates up to $21 per hour, depending on shift

Open Positions:

3-11 32hours

7-3 8 hours EOW

3-11 16 hours

Differentials Offered:

Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends

• Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours

Responsibilities:

Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment. Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Additional Expectations: Per diem staff are expected to fulfill (2) weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.
