Job summary

Apple Rehab Watertown in Watertown, CT is seeking a compassionate CNA to assist residents with daily living activities, bathing, grooming, and mobility, delivering high-quality care in a family-oriented setting.

Starting pay is up to $21 per hour, with shift differentials for evenings and weekends. Per diem weekend shifts are available. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, 401(k), disability and life insurance, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA certification in good standing.
• No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily bathing, grooming, dental care, and daily living tasks.
• C.N.A. documents personal care given according to facility policies and reports changes to supervisor.
• Records measurements such as temperature, weight, pulse and respiration as directed.
• Respond to call lights and emergencies promptly and calmly.

Job Opportunity: CNA Certified Nursing Assistant

Starting Pay: Competitive rates up to $21 per hour, depending on shift

Differentials Offered

Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends

• Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours

Responsibilities

Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies. Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration. C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns. Reports immediately all accidents or injuries. Records all necessary charting entries. Answers all call lights regardless of assignment. Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
