Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan serves as caregiver to residents in long-term care, performing daily living activities under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will support basic health care tasks, assist with bathing, dressing, meals, and vital signs while following care plans and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior long-term care experience preferred.
• CNA certification required or in process within 4 months.
• Annual continuing education as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, meals, and vital signs.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with transferring, mobility, ROM, and safety.
• Support wellness, recreation, and daily living activities.
