Job summary

Arvum Senior Living in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Care Giver/Med Tech to provide hands-on resident care and maintain a safe, home-like environment. You will support daily living activities, observe and document changes, and respond promptly to calls under supervision.

The role includes meals, mobility, and hygiene assistance. We offer on-the-job training, flexible schedules, and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time teammates.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is preferred.
• Willingness to work in a senior living environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and physical/emotional support to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living and promote independence.
• Observe, report and document changes in residents' condition.
• Respond promptly to resident call bells and safety needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.
• Follow standard care procedures and confidentiality requirements.
• Assist with meals, mobility, hygiene, and medication reminders as directed.

Education

Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.

High School diploma/GED

Must be 18 years of age.

CPR Certification preferred

First Aid Certification preferred

Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
