Job summary

Arvum Senior Living, LLC is seeking Care Giver/Med Tech professionals to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a safe, home-like environment. Training is provided; prior senior care experience and CNA certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift; know where residents are and check on them.
• Observe, report and document symptoms/conditions of residents.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Notify supervisor if a resident has increased care needs.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation in suites/restrooms.
• Serve and collect food trays and assist as needed; report refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of residents' rooms and work areas.
• Practice good standard care precautions; hygiene and health.
• Help residents maintain independence, dignity and safety.
• Lead and assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation).
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
• Greet and assist internal/external customers and residents.
• Do resident laundry as assigned.
• Medication Tech duties: review service plan; assist/observe medications following Six Rights; document doses; maintain confidentiality; report concerns; restock cart; count narcotics; maintain med room and charts; follow refill processes; participate in service plan updates; record vital signs; report exposures.

Education

Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) certification
