Nurse case manager support

Job summary

RNS Private Duty Care is hiring compassionate caregivers for in-home client support in Overland Park, KS. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health needs, and provide safe transportation under the supervision of a nurse case manager.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and access to an insured vehicle. Fluency in English and the ability to meet physical and mental requirements are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English required.
• Valid driver with a clean record and compliance with safety policies.
• Reliable, insured vehicle.
• Daily access to email and cell phone with internet/texting capability.

Responsibilities

• Provide client care as agreed with family and RNS case manager.
• Assist with activities of daily living including monitoring Alzheimer’s & dementia clients, taking vitals, transfers, fall prevention, bathing, home tasks, documentation, medication reminders, pain management.
• Provide safe transportation and run errands as needed.
• Work in homes with pets when applicable.
• Follow all RNS policies including HIPAA and dress code.
• Maintain CPR certification within 90 days of hire and TB test within 90 days of hire.
• Ensure coverage for all assigned shifts.

Qualifications:

• Licensed driver with a clean driving record and compliance with RNS safety policy

• Responsible for working all assigned shifts and ensuring coverage if unavailable
