Job summary

RNS Private Duty Care in Overland Park, KS is seeking experienced, dependable caregivers who value their skills and want a company that recognizes their contribution. You’ll join a team with nurse case managers, safety-first client matching, and local leadership that has your back.

Provide person-centered home care with competitive pay ($19–$22/hr), strong communication, and opportunities for growth. Weekday and weekend shifts are available, with support from a dedicated office and a care team

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience required.
• CNA certification preferred, but not required for all positions.
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record and compliance with safety policies.
• Reliable, insured vehicle.
• Cell phone with internet and texting capabilities.
• Fluent in English.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Current TB test or willingness to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care according to the client’s needs and established care plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
• Monitor clients and communicate changes in condition to the RNS care team.
• Assist with fall prevention and safety monitoring.
• Take and document vital signs as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and other non-medical support.
• Assist with light household tasks and errands as appropriate.
• Provide safe transportation when required.
• Complete accurate documentation.
• Follow RNS policies, HIPAA requirements, standards of conduct, and dress code.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the RNS team.
