Job summary

RNS Private Duty Care is seeking CNAs who want to leave facility life behind and provide one-on-one care in a client’s home. You’ll slow down, build meaningful relationships, and focus on the person in front of you with the support of a local leadership team and a nurse case manager.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate clearly with clients and families.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in a home-care setting.
• Ability to work independently and manage time in client homes.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, one-on-one care based on the client’s needs and care plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
• Monitor clients and report changes in condition to the RNS care team.
• Assist with fall prevention and safety monitoring.
• Take and document vital signs as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and other non-medical support.
• Assist with light household tasks and errands as appropriate.
• Provide safe transportation when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all RNS policies and procedures.

What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:

• Current CNA certification
• High School Diploma
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record and compliance with RNS safety policies
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Cell phone with internet and texting capabilities
• Daily access to RNS email
• Fluent in English
• Dependable and punctual
• Compassionate, professional, and comfortable working independently
• Ability to meet the physical and mental requirements of the role
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Current TB test or willingness to complete one within 90 days of hire
