Job summary

Inspired Living Kenner is hiring for our Kenner community. We are looking for caring individuals to provide daily living assistance, build relationships with residents and families, and help create a safe, home-like environment.

You'll support residents with activities of daily living, communicate changes to the team, and maintain accurate documentation in line with HIPAA and regulatory requirements. A CNA/HHA certification is preferred, with opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1 year of caregiving or similar experience preferred/required.
• CNA or HHA certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable using basic technology; familiarity with Microsoft Word/Excel is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful assistance with activities of daily living according to each resident's service plan.
• Get to know our residents and provide care that supports their individual needs, preferences, and dignity.
• Observe and communicate changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all care, safety, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with Care Partners, clinical leaders, families, and other members of the community team.
• Help create a warm and welcoming dining experience by assisting with meals, serving, clearing, and keeping the dining area beautiful.
• Jump in, support your teammates, and contribute to a positive team-first culture.
• Help make every day a little brighter for our residents!
