Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care Group seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for Summit Ridge Assisted Living in Douglas, WY. You will support residents with daily living activities per care plans, coordinate with nursing staff, and document care and weight changes as needed.

The position requires completion of CNA training, CPR/BLS, and a clean standing CNA license; food handler permit preferred. Team-oriented, compassionate care is essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler Permit.
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of CNA experience in SNF/ALF is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides certified nursing assistant services to assigned patients in accordance with care plans and facility policies and at the direction of supervisor(s).
• Assists resident with activities of daily living per care plans and policies.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinates dining room services at mealtimes, including setup, tray delivery, and feeding assistance.
• Documents meal intake and weight changes; reports to nurse as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows infection control policies.
• Attends care-plan meetings and participates in quality initiatives as needed.
• Performs duties as assigned and supports staff in daily operations.
