Job summary

Kindred Hospital Denver and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 68-bed hospital offering specialized long-term care with 24/7 clinical support. The CNA supports nursing staff in daily living activities, monitors patient conditions, and helps maintain a safe, clean environment across shifts.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, documenting, room prep, admissions/transfers, and assisting with routine treatments under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to organize tasks, develop action plans, set priorities and function under stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Takes and records vitals and documents accurately.
• Prepares patient rooms and assists with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Responds to patient call lights and paging system promptly.
• Performs routine treatment procedures under RN supervision.
• Assists with feeding and meal tray delivery.
