Job summary

Kindred Hospital Melbourne and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) in Melbourne, FL is seeking a compassionate CNA to assist nursing staff in providing patient care in an acute rehab setting. You will help with activities of daily living, mobility, and basic clinical tasks under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, preparing rooms, assisting with admissions and discharge, and ensuring patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification required.
• BCLS certification within facility-specified time.
• 6 months experience in acute or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nursing personnel in patient care.
• Help patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide emotional support and basic clinical skills under RN supervision.
• Record measurements and monitor patient condition.
• Prepare rooms and assist with admissions/discharges.
