Job summary

Kindred Hospital Denver and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a private, 68-bed facility offering extended recovery care with 24/7 clinical support. We partner with physicians to ensure seamless discharge planning and coordinated interdisciplinary care on a major Denver medical campus.

The role provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, with emphasis on care planning, collaboration, and safety in an LTACH/ARU setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on patient age and condition.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to document in electronic records.
• Ability to organize tasks, set priorities, and work under stress.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct nursing care following the nursing process.
• Communicate patient condition changes to physicians and care teams.
• Develop and update patient care plans and coordinate with the care team.
