This full-time role focuses on planning and leading engaging activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities, while coordinating with the care team to support holistic well-being.

You will document participation and mood, ensure safety, and collaborate with nurses, therapists, and social workers.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Florida CNA certification.
• Experience with elderly in long-term care or assisted living is preferred.
• Genuine compassion for residents and desire to enhance quality of life.
• Creative and engaging activity planning for diverse interests.
• Excellent communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and assist residents.

Aufgaben

• Plan and implement activities (arts, crafts, music, games, exercise, cultural events).
• Assess residents' interests and cognitive abilities to tailor plans.
• Lead group activities and individual engagements.
• Document participation and observed mood; report changes to supervisor.
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists and social workers to coordinate care.
• Ensure safety and supervision during activities; follow safety protocols.
• Communicate upcoming activities to residents, families and staff.
• Maintain inventory of activity supplies and assist with procurement.
