Solaris HealthCare Plant City is seeking an Activities Assistant CNA to join our team. You will plan and facilitate a variety of recreational and therapeutic activities for residents, providing hands-on support and ensuring safety and enjoyment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with nursing and therapy staff, maintaining records, and adapting activities to individual needs while promoting resident well-being and quality of life.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Florida.
• Experience in activities programming or related field preferred but not required.
• Passion for working with older adults and individuals with diverse needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creativity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Commitment to resident-centered care and promoting quality of life.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational, social, and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Provide hands-on support during activities ensuring safety and enjoyment.
• Encourage participation and social interactions to promote community.
• Maintain records of participation and observations.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and social workers to integrate activities into care plans.
• Modify activities to accommodate diverse needs and abilities.
• Assist with procurement and organization of supplies for activities.
• Communicate with residents, families, and team to solicit feedback and promote engagement.
• Participate in ongoing training and development for activities programming.
• Adhere to regulations governing activities programming in long-term care facilities.
