Job summary

Bedford Wellness and Rehabilitation in Bedford, TX, is seeking a friendly Certified Nursing Assistant to join our five-star facility. You will care for residents with compassion during a 6am-2pm shift in our newly renovated Transitional Care Unit, supporting high-quality nursing care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Nursing Aide.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer quality care.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Make beds and clean bedside areas.
• Provide water and assist with daily needs.
• Follow directions from Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Certified Nursing Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL

• Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident’s reach.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
