Job summary

Bedford Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Bedford, TX is seeking a friendly Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our five-star facility. You will provide compassionate resident care during the 10pm-6am shift at our renovated Transitional Care Unit, ensuring safety and quality nursing care.

Responsibilities include rounds, resident verification, bed making, hydration, and adherence to facility policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator.
• Make beds and clean bedside tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned and within residents' reach.
• Other related duties as directed by supervisor or administrator.
• Maintain BLS/CPR certification as required.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Certified Nursing Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant.

General Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident’s reach.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs; ALFs as required by state).
