Job summary

Bedford Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a friendly Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) to join our five-star facility. Bring compassion and a smile to caring for our residents in a newly renovated Transitional Care Unit. This is a full-time position with a 2pm-10pm schedule at 2001 Forest Ridge Dr, Bedford, TX 76021.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Certified Nursing Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and procedures, nursing care rules and safety guidelines.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and reachable.
• Carry out other duties as directed by Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently licensed as a Certified Nursing Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL

• Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility’s established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident’s reach.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
