Job summary

Bedford Wellness and Rehabilitation is seeking a friendly Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care for residents in our newly renovated Transitional Care Unit.

We offer a full-time schedule, including the 2pm-10pm shift, in a Five Star Facility that recognizes outstanding employees. Our team supports residents with dignity and high-quality care in Bedford, TX.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Certified Nursing Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies, nursing procedures and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to ensure quality nursing care.
• Verify resident identification before nursing care or serving meals.
• Make beds and clean bedside/overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned and filled with drinking water within residents' reach.
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Certified Nursing Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: GENERAL

• Perform all duties as assigned and in accordance with facility's established policies and procedures, nursing care procedures and safety rules and regulations.
• Make resident rounds at the beginning of each shift and every two hours thereafter to administer quality nursing care.
• Verify the identification of a resident before administering nursing care or serving food, to assure that appropriate care is being provided to the correct resident.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Assure that water pitchers are cleaned, filled with fresh drinking water and within the resident's reach.
• Other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses, or Administrator.
