Job summary

Aston Park Health Care Center Inc. in Asheville, NC is hiring a Third-Shift CNA to provide overnight care in a compassionate, senior living environment.

The position includes documenting daily living activities, assisting with hygiene, transfers, vital signs, meals, and comfort, with a base pay of $18–$24 per hour plus premiums for third shift and weekends. A $5,000 sign-on bonus applies to eligible positions, with benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• At least a 10th-grade education.
• Graduation from an accredited CNA program.
• Current North Carolina CNA license.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Accurately documenting activities of daily living.
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, shaving, and toileting.
• Turning, repositioning, and safely transferring residents between beds and wheelchairs.
• Taking and recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
• Assisting with meals, measuring food and liquid intake, and changing bed linens.
• Monitoring residents for changes in condition and promptly reporting concerns to nurses.
• Providing companionship, comfort, and responsive support to improve residents’ quality of life.
