Royal Braintree Nursing and Rehab – AuthentiCare Health Centers is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team. You will provide hands-on assistance and resident-centered care to support comfort, dignity, safety, and daily needs in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing, as required by applicable state regulations.
• Knowledge of basic resident care practices and activities of daily living.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to follow care instructions, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines.
• Ability to accurately document care and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility, transfers, and other physical care tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, as directed.
• Assist residents with safe lifting, positioning, transferring, and mobility using approved techniques and equipment.
• Observe residents' conditions and promptly report changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
• Support residents receiving hospice and end‑of‑life care with compassion and respect.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures and established facility protocols.
• Document care provided accurately and maintain resident confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Respond promptly to residents' needs and follow established emergency procedures.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, privacy, and overall well‑being.
