Job summary

Good Samaritan, a not-for-profit provider with 100+ years of housing and services for seniors, is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to join the long-term care team in Bottineau, ND. The role involves resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision, assisting with daily living activities, meals, and mobility, and maintaining infection control practices.

The NA will document resident interactions, communicate changes to the charge nurse, and participate in wellness and recreational programs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with State Board; facility provides training and certification.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education credits required.
• In applicable states, registered with UAP Registry.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver with driving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, ROM, and mobility.
• Support wellness and recreational programs; assist with meals and dining experiences.
