Job summary

FutureCare in Baltimore is seeking a dedicated CNA-1 to join our frontline health care team, delivering hands-on resident care and daily living assistance. You will work with nursing staff to monitor residents, perform vital signs, and ensure safety and comfort.

We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus, competitive pay between $20 and $23 per hour, evening shift differential, and comprehensive benefits including growth opportunities and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA-1 certification in Maryland.
• Positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility is a plus.
• Effective communication and patience with residents.
• Empathy and compassion to increase resident comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, oral care and other basic needs.
• Take and record vital signs at shift start and as directed.
• Answer calls for assistance and observe changes in residents.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
• Assist in transporting residents as needed.
• Provide companionship to residents and ensure safety.
• Encourage activity and engagement for residents.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
