Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA-1 certification in Maryland
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with activities of daily living
• Perform vital signs at the start of shift
• Answer calls for assistance and observe changes in residents
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner
• Assist in transporting residents as needed
• Provide companionship to residents
• Ensure resident safety
• Motivate residents to stay active and engaged
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment
